Here are a few Christmas cards I've put together for the November 14th workshop. Lots of layering on both of these cards. Other than using Nestabilites, the rest of the supplies are all Stampin'Up.

As promised, here's the other card we'll be making this Saturday. This will be great practice using the sponging technique.

I didn't want to miss the chance to show you my Halloween and Thanksgiving creations before we jump into Christmas items next week so...I'm having a workshop Saturday night, October 10th at 6:00. This is a technique we've worked on some so we can perfect it Saturday! I'm tweaking the Halloween card and will post it later. Let me know if you can make it. It's going to be a very casual workshop (like any of ours are formal).

Here's a quick look at what we will be making at Camp JoAnn on October 17th. The tags in the pizza box haven't been completely finished yet but this will give you an idea of what the gift will look like. The Ornament Punch box is darling and I've already put some together for my special little Halloween buddies using the new Night and Day Specialty paper and a scalloped circle punch. The designer paper includes several pieces of dotted acetate which is perfect for the windows of these boxes.

Some current cards

Here are some cards I've worked on recently. Nature's Nest is a very versatile set. The first bird's nest card is used with the new in-color and also a piece of corrugated cardboard I found in some packaging. Run the cardboard through the Sizzix and you get a nice effect. The turtle and birds nest were stamped on watercolor paper with Stazon ink and then watercolored with markers. I used some Crystal Effects on the turtle's shell to make it pop.

The Fifth Avenue Floral set was used for the Sympathy card. I love the collection of Designer Paper in the Hostess paper set. This card was super simple to make by just stamping on Night of Navy paper and embossing with silver, then cutting out. The silver layer of cardstock completes the card nicely.
