Ahhh...Retirement

Who would have known that you would have all this extra time when you retire? I finally have the time to sit down and try several different things. I hope you like my attempts and hope to see you at my next workshop on August 13th. The Summer Mini ends on August 31st so don't miss your chance to get a few of the stamp sets that will be discontinued then, like Land of the Free as shown below or The Open Sea which we used in May.

Back in the saddle again!

It's been quite a hectic past six weeks and I'm sorry a workshop wouldn't fit into my life but I'll try and make up for it through the end of the year with more than our usual one workshop a month. Thanks for your condolences on the death of my mother and thanks for your support with my retirement plans when I hoped to spend the next few years taking care of mom. Now I have no job and no mom...bummer for me. But with friends like you, I know it will be easier.



That being said, we're going to have a workshop this Saturday, July 16th at 9:30 a.m. at a cost of $6 each to make two cards. Here are the cards you've all been waiting to see. The Daffodil Delight Gerber Daisy card is made using the Sizzix Daisies Die. It's fun and super easy to make. The second card is using the Fabulous Florets stamp set which is in the summer mini and is also in the new Ideas Catalog which I'll have available for sale this weekend.
