Mellow Yellow

Our next workshop will be Saturday, February 8th, at 9:30 a.m.   We will enjoy the benefits of Sale-A-Bration (a $50 purchase gets you a free item from the Sale-A-Bration booklet) and we will also be learning a new technique with a chance to get both creative and messy.

Quilting and Machine Embroidery

As many of you know, Number 2 on my Bucket List (Number 1 was to become a Master Gardener) was to learn to quilt.  Along the road to my goal, I was able to purchase a Viking Topaz 20 sewing machine which not only sews a nice straight line, but offers me machine embroidery.  I've been having a ball this Christmas season during my learning process.  I did make Knowlan a quilt last summer but now, with my new machine, I finished a quilt for Matt this weekend and was able to quilt each square using my machine embroidery.
I've completed many projects which mostly used machine embroidery and want to share them here.
Hope you enjoy seeing them.

Brrrrrrr

What better to do this cold week than meet with our good friends and share a morning of stamping.  We'll meet this Saturday, January 11th, at 9:30 a.m.

I'm going to try something a little different this workshop and cut out the basics and let you add the details you want.

I have run off several different prints in MDS from the Birthday Basics DSP and even colored one sheet a completely different color.  MDS is awesome when you want to do something like this with a design that is just one color.

The Birthday card is using the thinlit die but using the entire
8 1/2" of cardstock so that you can fold the right side in.  You'll just have to come by and see it!  See you Saturday.
