January 2016 - Sale-A-Bration

Our January workshop will welcome in the Sale-A-Bration promotion and the new occasions catalog.  I'll link both catalogs on this blog,

I hope to have our first 2016 workshop on January 9th so let me know if you would like to host.

I have made several of the cascade cards and will try to have a few samples.  This isn't my favorite.  If you have Designer Series Paper you love and would rather use that, bring it along and we'll match up with card stock.  As you all know and we've discussed too many times, this years classes will be a little different.

The cost is still $6.00 or $7.00 if you would like envelopes.

Remember with Sale-a-Bration, every $50 spent earns you a free item.

Stamp Camp 2015

My posting is late but only because it's so super special this year.  As you all know, our holiday catalog is phenomenal this year and it was hard to limit Stamp Camp to just 3 cards.

Stamp Camp is this Saturday, October 3rd at 9:30.  Instead of breakfast, we will be having a picnic type lunch including hot dogs and sides coordinated by our hostess, Lynne.  Since we're all bringing a dish, the cost per person will only be $6 for the three cards.

August Workshop

For those who follow my blog, I'm sorry I haven't been posting the last few workshops.  I may add the cards later but probably not.   Our August workshop will be August 15th at 9:30.  The cost will be $6.00 and you'll have a chance to make a few wonderful cards.  The tunnel card will be great as a Christmas card, especially once you see the holy family stamp set coming in the Holiday catalog.  Here are the cards we're making in August.  I think you'll agree that they are extra special, especially with the brick wall embossing folder.

 

Mother's Day and Slider Graduation card

 Our next workshop will be Saturday, May 9th at 9:30 a.m.  We will be making a birthday/Mother's Day card and a graduation card.  Lynne will be hosting this workshop.

If you need a graduation card this year, let me know the school colors (beforehand if you want me to do some cutting for you) and we'll try to make a matching card school colors card.  You can see the card I made my niece (below) where I did her school colors and added a few extras.  If you can't tell, the inside sentiment "Yay You" is covered up until you open the card and it slides open.  Extremely cool and thanks to Bobbye for the lesson.

Mike turned 40 on March 19th.  Hard to believe it's been 40 years since we were blessed with this wonderful gift from Vietnam.  Adoption is a gift and there should never be any doubts in your mind that you won't love this child as much as you love another.  God blessed us when he brought Michael into our lives.  Here's the album I made for Mike.  It's an off-shoot of Matt's because his was so perfect to start with.  Hope you enjoy it.  If you click on a picture, it should enlarge for you.  I'm not sure that you would be able to do a slideshow.  I don't think so.
